Salesforce Summer '26: Keywords Every Resume Needs Now
Salesforce Summer '26 dropped in April with a tighter set of meaningful additions than Spring '26 had. For a Salesforce professional actively applying, a few new terms are worth adding to your resume — and one block of old terms is worth removing.
New keywords to add
- AI Content Summarizer — a Lightning App Builder component that generates AI summaries from any record context. No code. If you've placed one on a page layout, mention it.
- Radio Button Group — a new Flow screen component replacing the older radio picker. Small but a signal you're on the current release.
- Field Access tab — a new Object Manager tab consolidating field-level security across every profile and permission set. Security Specialists should add this.
- SLDS 2 Dark Mode — expanded Dark Mode availability for SLDS 2 themed orgs. UX designers building on SLDS 2 should call it out.
- Schedule Batch Sizing — Schedule-triggered flows can now override the default 200-record batch size. Critical for high-volume orgs hitting governor limits.
- Fault Path Collapsing — Flow Builder can now collapse fault-handling branches on the canvas. Flow maintainers should mention this.
Keywords to remove
Summer '26 formally retired API versions 21 through 30. If your resume references any of those specific versions (e.g. “REST API v24 integrations”), update to v31+ or drop the version number entirely. An explicit reference to a retired API version signals outdated integration work faster than anything else on the page.
Things that already changed but still get missed
If you haven't updated your resume in the last six months, these earlier deprecations are still common findings:
- Connected Apps — can no longer be newly created as of Spring '26. The current equivalent is External Client Apps. Reframe existing references as migration context.
- Einstein Copilot — rebranded to Agentforce. Use Agentforce or Agentforce Assistant.
- CRM Analytics — rebranded to Tableau Next at TDX 2026.
- AppExchange — merged into AgentExchange at TDX 2026.
Fastest way to update
Open the builder, run the Keyword Meter against your current resume, and it will flag which Summer '26 terms are missing for your target role. The Proofreader's retired_api_version check flags API v21-30 references specifically. Total time to review and update: about 15 minutes.
