Terms of Service

By using ResuBlue ("Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use ResuBlue. If you are between 13 and 18 (or 16 in EU jurisdictions), you may use the Service only with verifiable parental consent. ResuBlue is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from minors under 13. If we become aware that a minor under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete that information promptly.

1. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or resell AI-generated resume outputs as part of a competing product or service.
  • Use the Service to impersonate another person or create fraudulent resumes.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract AI models or proprietary algorithms from the Service.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service beyond what is permitted by your subscription tier.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

2. Description of Service

AI-assisted resume building for Salesforce professionals. ResuBlue provides career preparation tools only.

3. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your resume. AI-generated suggestions are starting points, not verified facts. Submitting false information on a resume may constitute fraud.

4. AI-Generated Content

ResuBlue uses AI to generate resume bullets, summaries, and other content. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated outputs are suggestions only and may contain inaccuracies, hallucinations, or content unsuitable for your specific situation.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before submitting it to any employer.
  • We make no guarantee that using ResuBlue will result in employment or interviews.
  • All scores (ATS Score, Authenticity Score, Competition Score, ResuBlue Score) are statistical estimates only. They are not factual assessments or predictions of any employment outcome.
  • AI outputs may not reflect current market conditions, salary ranges, or employer requirements.

Colorado AI Act disclosure: ResuBlue uses AI systems that may influence employment-related decisions. AI-generated content and analysis are informational tools. Users retain full responsibility for all content submitted to employers.

5. International Users

Geographic Availability. ResuBlue is currently available to US-based Salesforce professionals only. The service, its tools, and its AI features are calibrated for the US Salesforce job market. Use of this service from outside the United States is not prohibited, but the product is not designed for non-US hiring markets and international-specific legal frameworks (including GDPR) are not fully implemented during beta.

ResuBlue provides career positioning advice only. We do not provide immigration, visa, or legal advice of any kind. Users requiring immigration guidance should consult a licensed immigration attorney.

6. Subscription and Billing

During the current controlled beta, paid checkout, Customer Portal access, and billing changes are available only when ResuBlue confirms paid access for the account. The billing terms below apply to confirmed paid subscriptions and do not approve public paid beta access.

  • ResuBlue has a free tier with limited features and paid tiers (Seeker, Climber, Ignite, Peak, Sage) that may be billed monthly or annually when paid access is enabled for the account.
  • Confirmed paid subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date.
  • Confirmed paid subscribers may cancel from account settings or support. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refund policy: Annual plans are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Monthly plans are non-refundable.
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice to your registered email address.

7. California Auto-Renewal Disclosure (Section 17602)

For California residents on paid subscriptions:

  • Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • The renewal price is the same as the price you paid for the most recent term, displayed at the time of purchase and in your account settings.
  • You will be charged using the payment method on file at the time of renewal.
  • You may cancel at any time from your Account Settings or by contacting support@resublue.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not receive a separate notice before each renewal unless required by California law (typically for terms exceeding one year).

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our maximum total liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the resume content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content solely to provide the Service.

The ResuBlue name, logo, UI design, and proprietary code are owned by us and may not be reproduced without permission. Salesforce, its products, and related certification names are trademarks of Salesforce, Inc., used here for descriptive purposes only. ResuBlue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Salesforce, Inc.

ResuBlue does not reproduce, distribute, or display Salesforce copyrighted content, including but not limited to Trailhead materials, official documentation, blog posts, marketing materials, or branded media. ResuBlue does not scrape, harvest, or otherwise use Salesforce trademarks, content, or data for the creation, training, or fine-tuning of any AI model or tool. The AI providers used by ResuBlue (disclosed in the AI Transparency Statement) are pre-trained third-party large language models that ResuBlue uses at inference time only. ResuBlue does not retrain, fine-tune, or modify these models. No Salesforce-proprietary content is embedded in any model weights, embeddings, or training corpora used by ResuBlue.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time via the account settings page. We may terminate your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California, United States.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Commercial Use License (Sage Tier)

Sage commercial and client-workspace use is operator-controlled. It is not part of the first-five beta, paid beta, or public launch unless ResuBlue confirms Sage access for the account.

  • Confirmed Sage subscribers receive a commercial use license to create and deliver resumes on behalf of paying clients.
  • Personal tiers (Free through Peak) are licensed for individual, non-commercial use only.
  • Using a personal tier for paid client work is a violation of these Terms and may result in account termination.
  • Sage subscribers acting as data processors for their clients are responsible for their own compliance with applicable data protection law. A data processing agreement is available upon request at support@resublue.com.
  • Client data stored in the Sage workspace is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and is never used to train AI models.
  • Client notes stored in the workspace are never included in any AI prompt under any circumstances.
  • To request deletion of client data, contact support@resublue.com.

13. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use ResuBlue. By creating an account, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age.
